Police charge second man after alleged kidnapping investigation involving Ryde and Hunters Hill

NSW Police have released vision after detectives charged a second man as part of an investigation into an alleged kidnapping in Sydney’s north last year.

Police allege a man was assaulted and kidnapped at gunpoint at Ryde in June 2025, before later being returned to his vehicle in Hunters Hill.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at Rooty Hill on Wednesday and has been charged with 17 offences. He was refused bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court today.
