Wild for Wattles Workshop

Lane Cove Community Nursery hosts a hands-on wattle workshop on Thursday 6 August, exploring the local species that help enrich soils and provide food and shelter for native wildlife.

With close to a thousand wattle species found across Australia, these hardy, fast-growing plants are a great addition to any native garden. Participants will learn how to grow wattles from seed and get a closer look at the varieties found around Lane Cove.

The workshop is for people aged 16 and over. Bookings are essential through Eventbrite as spaces are limited, so please cancel in advance if you can no longer attend.
