Come and Try Bushcare Day, Tambourine Bay Park

Lane Cove Council invites residents to spend a few hours in nature at Tambourine Bay Park on Sunday 23 August, helping care for local bushland at a free Come and Try Bushcare Day.

No experience is needed. Council’s bushcare team will show participants how to identify common native and exotic plants and help tackle a few weeds along the way. All tools and equipment are provided, along with light refreshments.

It’s a relaxed, hands-on introduction to bushcare for anyone curious about volunteering. Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited.
