Harbourcare Kayak x Biodiversity Month

Get out on the water for a good cause this Biodiversity Month. Lane Cove Council’s Harbourcare team leads a kayak paddle along the Lane Cove River on Friday 4 September, collecting litter along the foreshore while exploring the waterway’s mangroves and wildlife.

Bring your own kayak or hire one on the day, with bags, gloves and litter pickers all provided. Medium fitness is required, and some paddling experience is preferred but not essential. Wear enclosed shoes and sun-smart clothing that can get wet.

Minimum age 11, with under 16s needing an accompanying adult. Meeting location provided after booking, departing from Lane Cove West.
