Lane Cove Diwali Fest 2026: Festival of Lights

Lane Cove Diwali Fest returns to The Canopy on Saturday 31 October, billed as the largest multicultural event in Lane Cove. The festival is presented in partnership with the Lane Cove Indian Community and welcomes everyone to celebrate the many cultures that make up the local community.

The program includes welcome speeches, a colourful multicultural fashion show, music from around the world and cultural dance performances from Indian, Russian, Greek, Japanese and Bulgarian groups among others.

The festival runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm and is free. A Diya Lighting follows at The Canopy around sunset on Sunday 8 November, when the community will light 100 tea lights to mark the spirit of Diwali.
