Small Business Networking Breakfast: Think Like Bowie

Lane Cove Council’s Small Business Networking Breakfast returns on Wednesday 4 November with an interactive session on creative thinking, titled Think Like Bowie. Creativity expert Nicole Velik from the Ideas Bodega will show how some of the most original minds in history, from David Bowie to Salvador Dali, used deliberate techniques to spark new ideas rather than relying on talent alone.

Velik will share practical innovation methods that local business owners can apply to their own challenges. The listing says she has used these techniques with clients including the United Nations, Google, Nike and LEGO.

The breakfast runs from 8:00am to 9:45am at Pottery Lane Performance Space. It is free, with registration through Eventbrite.
