Greenwich Village Arts Trail
Put on your walking shoes and head out for a great day of entertainment and exercise, exploring the studios of the 2026 Greenwich Village Arts Trail. The popular annual event is showcasing 35 artists this year, some new faces and many returning favourites. Paintings in all styles, from oil to watercolour and prints, plus ceramics, sculptures, photography, woodwork, and textiles.
So chat to the artists, ask them questions, explore their studios, and perhaps take home a beautifully created artwork to enjoy yourself – or give to a loved one for Christmas. If walking the Arts Trail is a bit daunting, make use of the free shuttle bus which has been generously provided by Lane Cove Council. The bus travels in a continuous circuit from the top of Greenwich down to Greenwich Wharf.
The Greenwich cafes will be open all weekend, including a wonderful new addition ‘Corner Shop Organics Cafe’ at the top of the bus loop on Crowther Ave. While you are there, check out painter Pete Finlay in Studio No 1, or nearby painter, ceramicist and kiln-owner Nicola Hart at Studio No 2!
Maps and brochures are available from the local Greenwich shops, or at each of the artists’ studios on the weekend of the trail. Or find digital versions online at www.greenwichvillageartstrail.com.au
