Lane Cove Tennis Club is hosting an official Australian Open 1 Point Slam on Friday 13 November, with every match decided by a single point.
The free event starts at 4:30pm at the club’s Kenneth Street courts in Longueville and is open to anyone aged 12 and over. You don’t need to be a member or have a ranking.
The winner goes through to the NSW State Championship at Sydney Olympic Park on 22 November, with a path to the Australian Open and a $1 million prize.
There’ll be a serve speed gun on the day and spectators are welcome. Entries close at 11:30pm on Tuesday 10 November and you’ll need a free Tennis ID to register.
