Trees of Joy Christmas Gift Drive

Lane Cove’s Trees of Joy are back, giving locals an easy way to help families doing it tough this Christmas. From Thursday 19 November to Friday 11 December you can leave unwrapped gifts under the trees at Lane Cove Council’s Civic Centre and the Lane Cove, St Leonards and Greenwich libraries. Kindy Cove is taking gifts until 3 December.

Gifts are passed on to local families through Delvena Women and Children’s Refuge and Catholic Care. Presents for children and teenagers of all ages are welcome. Grab a gift tag from any tree for ideas. Toys, cinema passes and vouchers from places such as Dymocks, Coles or Woolworths are all suggested.

Drop-offs are welcome during opening hours at each location.
