Indigenous Cultural Tour at the Coal Loader
Learn about the Aboriginal heritage of the Waverton peninsula on a free Indigenous Cultural Tour at the Coal Loader on Saturday 12 December from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
Run by North Sydney Council with the Aboriginal Heritage Office and Koori Kinnections, the tour includes a hands-on session with traditional tools. It visits the site’s rock engraving and bush tucker garden, then heads to a harbour lookout to talk about how waterways and harbour resources were traditionally used.
The tour is free. Tickets open three weeks before through North Sydney Council’s Humanitix page.
