I am a handyman based in Lane Cove. My main goal is to offer workmanship with attention to detail and a service that is both professional and friendly. I specialise in all kinds of home maintenance and repair work. I have a degree in Architecture and a Master of Sustainable Building.
A Home needs regular maintenance and there are some jobs which either you cannot get the time
to do or are unable to do. I love tackling all those jobs large or small that just never seem to get done. To give you an idea of some of a few of the jobs that I have done in the past, they include:
Repairing or staining timber decks, patching plasterboard walls or cornices, painting and inside and out, hanging doors, easing stuck windows and doors, installing door handles and locks, replacing broken glass panes, repairing broken fly-screens, repairing fences and gates, grouting and caulking tiles and showers, fixing rotten windows or doors, fixing furniture, assembling or building shelves and furniture, installing sinks and vanities, clearing gutters and pressure cleaning paths and steps.
I care a great deal about the people that I do work for and the outcome of the work I do. This is because I love this kind of work and I like helping people.
From the time I first arrive to the time I finish I want you to enjoy me being in your home and doing work for you. I am completely honest in how I deal with clients and pride myself in the thoughtful and friendly service I provide.
Because I am not a franchise and have a low overhead business I can offer competitive rates. My labour is based on a transparent hourly basis, and I provide an estimate of time expected required to complete your jobs before any work commences.
All materials used on your job are supplied at cost with receipts provided.

Although my preferred principle is the hard to beat KISS principle, the list of tasks we gave to Matt, contained none that were simple. A few examples: Add bathroom fittings to a wall of very hard tiles, attach a huge elkhorn to a 100 year old barn door and hang it up near the front entrance, create a washing line that is there when needed and hidden when not in use etc.....
Matt took the challenges into his careful methodical planning and we ticked each of the tasks off the list successfully. Matt is focused, reliable and great to work with.
