Aqualuna is a fun community choir that sings a diverse repertoire ranging from gospel, African, world and pop to classical music. The emphasis is on having fun while improving our sound and learning some music on the way. We are currently looking to recruit members, particularly but not limited to, tenors and basses. All parts are welcome, no experience necessary and we do not audition. If interested, please come along and join us for a free session.

Kindy Cove caters for 58 children daily between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years. It is a council sponsored Long day care centre which offers a preschool program to children 3-6yrs. The centre directors work in collaboration with a Management Advisory Committee of parents, staff, Council and community representatives.
KU Greenwich Preschool provides high quality education and care for young children and their families.

KU Osborne Park Preschool is situated behind Lane Cove Golf Course in a peaceful bush and park environment, where children can experience expansive learning opportunities through the potential of nature.
The preschool provides a play-based program and am environment that is both stimulating and challenging, and nurtures the growth of children while embracing their uniqueness and individuality.

The Lane Cove Art Society celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2015. The aim of the Society is to encourage, recognise and reward artistic talent in the Lane Cove. They welcome new members – the sole requirement is an interest in art.
Meetings held on the second Thursday of the month, 10.15am-12.30pm
We currently run bi-weekly activities for children set in local bushland with different themes and focus depending on the season and location, e.g. in “Shapes in Nature” we explore natural shapes in our environment, in “Bug Spot” we hunt down mini-beasts and learn about their life cycles, habitats and peculiarities and in “Are Trees Alive” we search for signs that they are indeed.

Lane Cove Community Chaplaincy seeks to serve and connect the local community in unique and person-oriented ways. Karen, the Chaplain, lives and works in Lane Cove and is readily available to meet you.
Karen is an ordained Minister of the Uniting Church in Australia. However, Karen prefers to go to the community, rather than expect people to turn up at Church to see her. She prefers to listen to people’s perspectives and needs than preach. (But she does offer her perspective in her blogs). Although Karen is generously sponsored by Lane Cove Uniting Church, she is not its Minister.
The Community Kitchen is a men’s only group who come together on the first and third Thursdays of the month to socialise and cook before enjoying a delicious and nutritious meal together. It is a wonderful way to meet new friends.
The Lane Cove Concert Band was formed in 1963 and is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act.
The Bands play in various community events, local, state and national competitions and host their own indoor and outdoor concerts each year.
New members are always welcome with rehearsals being open to potential new players to come and try the various bands out.
Established in 1970 Lane Cove Creative Photography has been bringing photographers together for over 40 years.

Free community service for parents and /or caregivers with children aged 0-5 years. Advice and support on parenting issues, growth and development checks, education and support groups, assessment and referral to other services.
Lane Cove Golf Club is a friendly, affordable, community based golf club located on the 9 hole public golf course (with two alternate tees and greens) owned by Lane Cove Council. It is situated very close to Lane Cove Village in verdant bush lined valleys. There is plenty of free parking.
THE LANE COVE MEN’S SHED is a fully equipped workshop where skilled and unskilled men can share time with each other, swap yarns and work together on community projects. Members make and repair furniture, toys, craft items or work on their own personal projects. Many items are donated to community groups whilst some are sold to buy materials and new tools for the Shed.
Lane Cove Music was founded in 1946 and is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Federated Music Clubs of Australia NSW Council Inc.

The group yourselves will cover simple techniques on how to express yourself in writing and have the opportunity to share your writings in a supportive and non-judgemental group setting.

Stepping On is a free, informative and fun course presented by trained health professionals at Greenwich Hospital. The course aims to build confidence, improve strength and balance and reduce the risk of falls. As well as teaching strength and balance exercises, the course provides information on home hazards, safe footwear, vision difficulties and medication management.
Local Support for Local People
We provide services to the aged and people living with a disability including social activities, gardening, home nursing, podiatry, Community Care Advisory, linen service, home delivered meals, home modifications and maintenance, flexible respite, carers support, shopping services, community and engagement programs, medical transport and assistance in daily life.
We have heaps of cool stuff for young people to do: Wii, Xbox Kinect, pool table, table tennis, arts activities, sports equipment, computer access and music equipment.
We also run events including Band Nights, Skate Road Trips and Youth Art session.
Meeting House Kindergarten offers places to 3 to 5 year olds on Monday to Thursday (during school term) from 9am to 3pm.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic teachers are all qualified early childhood educators. Our small centre offers a school readiness program.
Provides dementia-specific day respite for people living in the community. Offer assessment, outings and small group activities and community education about living with dementia. Transport and respite can be arranged in the lower north shore area. Saturday program for younger people with dementia.
University of the Third Age (U3A) is a not-for-profit organization open to anyone who is not in full-time employment and wants to broaden their horizons, be involved in interesting discussions and share skills and knowledge. It provides intellectual stimulation in a friendly group setting.
