Spring is the perfect time to explore Sydney’s colourful bushland. Have you ever wondered about the beautiful and uniquely Australian wildflowers you often see on your walks – what they are called, what makes them special and what are the stories behind them?

Join us for a talk on Sydney’s spring wildflowers. Nature writer Leicia Petersen, author of Stories of Australian Flowers and Birds, Volumes 1 and 2, will introduce some of Sydney’s common native plants through beautiful photographs and fascinating stories.

We hope that the next time you walk through the bush, you will see the natural world with new eyes and enjoy an even richer experience.
