Last year Tambourine Bay Reserve played host to Food and Wine by the River. It was the start of a relationship between the Lane Cove Council and Taste Orange. If you are like ITC and have wanted to forage at the Orange Food and Wine Festival and never made it, this is the next best thing. So put 6 November 2016 in your diary.
The Food and Wine by the River is part of Lane Cove Council’s Festival by the River which runs from 1–13 November at a range of locations along the Lane Cove and Parramatta River foreshores. Visit Council’s website for a full program of events www.lanecove.nsw.gov.au/festivals.
Lane Cove Council and Taste Orange have announced more than 15 stallholders for the Festival by the River event. From 11am – 5pm, a range of stalls from the Orange region will feature their delicious gourmet produce along with some of your local Sydney favourites:

If you love a wine tasting, then buy a branded glass for $5 and then choose between $8 per full glass of wine (120 ml) or $4 per half glass of wine (60 ml).
You can’t go past a bit of cheese with your wine and the Second Mouse Cheese Company (love that name) will be there with their delicious cheeses. It’s all taste and no traps (boom boom).
You can either walk, drive or take a free shuttle Bus from Lane Cove Library.
Food and Wine by the River is a licensed event with no BYO or glass.
