Want to know what is happening in Lane Cove on ANZAC Day? We have put together a guide for you.
Lane Cove ANZAC Day Service
The Lane Cove ANZAC Day Service commences promptly at 7.25 am. It’s a good idea to be there by 7.15am.The service runs for an hour or so, finishing around 8.30am. This allows Veterans to go to the city to march in the parade.
The Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch and the Lane Cove Council put a great deal of effort into the ceremony so please come along and remember Lane Cove locals who served to protect our country. If you would like to know more about the planning of the service and the man behind it read our article here.
Those members of the community who would like to march with the medals of family members are asked to arrive no later than 7:10am. Family representatives should wear the medals on the right side of the chest and congregate in Birdwood Lane (off Lane Cove Plaza, near McGrath).
