ITC loves seeing a decorated Christmas house. A decorated house is a joy to behold. So get involved Lane Cove. The Lane Cove Council encourages residents to decorate their houses with its annual Light Up Lane Cove Competition.
This annual Lane Cove Council competition aims to help our community discover the local Christmas lights that are proudly displayed throughout Lane Cove.
Which Streets Are the Best Streets To View the Lights
Lane Cove Council has an online map which guides you to the houses that have entered the Light Up Lane Cove competition. The map is online here and is updated during the competition period as more houses register.
If you have small children with limited time, visit Sutherland Street and Yallambee Road in Riverview.
Favourite Houses
It is hard work putting on a Christmas Spectacular and last year’s winners, located in Myee Crescent, are taking a break. They will be putting up some lights, but they will not be decorating the whole house and yard so you can wander through it. See the video below to see how much effort they put into spreading cheer.
Take a look around the winning Lane Cove Best decorated house. The house is located at 38-40 Myee Crescent, Lane Cove West (just keep heading along Penrose Street). Great Lane Cove Christmas LIghtsPS. Sorry about the finger over camera. It is not there for long

Lane Cove Christmas Lights – Best Street Prize
This is a great excuse to get together with your neighbours and enter the best street competition. Residents of Sutherland Street won the best street prize for years and years. Which street will finally beat them? So far three streets have entered the competition for the best street, Sutherland Street, Yallambie Road and Angus Avenue.
ITC looks forward to seeing your lights and your Christmas photos. Take a snap of you and your kids enjoying the Christmas Lights and tag our facebook page or instagram page and the #itcchristmaslights. You might get a surprise gift if you tag us.
