Greenwich Village Arts Trail is Back – 2nd and 3rd November 2019

The popular Greenwich Village Arts Trail, now in its 8th year, has attracted 29 artists. Those artists will open their studio doors to the public. A few years ago the Sydney Morning Herald reported that Greenwich was part of a creative cluster (and we don’t think they are wrong). Put aside the 2nd and 3rd November to discover local artists.

You will meet the artists! You will see the inner workings of an artist’s studio.

Many of the artists on the Greenwich Village Arts Trail have won multiple awards and have been hung and shown in prestigious art events.

There will be oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings, sculptures, jewellery, pottery, photography on display and for sale on the Greenwich Village Arts Trail.

Visitors can enjoy wonderful bush and waterfront walks as they wander from studio to studio, and choose from four cafes for meals and coffee. Studios are open on the weekend each day, from 10am to 4pm. Train, ferry and bus stops are all within a short distance of the trail and maps are available at the local shops or on the website.

Below is just a sample of the work that you will see.

Greenwich Public School

The Greenwich Public School is part of the Greenwich Arts Trail – see work by the artists fo the future and grab some cake!

If you love art you will love the Greenwich Village Arts Trail. Why not grab a group of friends and tour the sites together, then have a cuppa at one of Greenwich’s lovely cafes. You get a real insight into an artist’s working space.

See you on the trail.
