COVID 19 Testing Facilities Information for Lane Cove Residents

NSW Health is urging people with symptoms, including mild symptoms, to be tested to ensure as many cases of COVID-19 in the community are identified as quickly as possible.

Where Can I Be Tested?

Testing is free at the 60 testing clinics run by NSW Health, and no referral from a GP is required. Results can take up to two days.

The full list of public COVID-19 clinics is available online here.  Note:  You do not need a GP referral to be tested here.

A complete list of private collection centres can be found here. A GP referral is required to be tested at private collection centres.

WiSE Respiratory Clinic Ryde

The WiSE Respiratory clinic is now open to assess people with mild-moderate respiratory symptoms and test and diagnose cases including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia.

The WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic team is working with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Northern Sydney Primary Health Network to establish a Primary Care Respiratory Clinic adjacent to, but totally separate from the regular WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic.

The aim is to take the pressure off local emergency departments who will need to prioritise severe cases and relieve pressure on local general practices so that they can continue to safely care for patients for non-respiratory related conditions.  Learn more here
