Garcon has now opened in The Canopy for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  ITC noticed on Sunday morning that some of the other cafes in Lane Cove looked quiet and the area around the Canopy was busy.

The Canopy is wonderful, but we need to share our love around and support all the cafes and restaurants in Lane Cove. Those businesses have for years supported your kid’s school, sporting team or charity. Check out our brunch guide or grab a cuppa and sit on The Village Green.

Three men have been arrested following an investigation into the supply of illicit drugs on Sydney’s North Shore.

Strike Force Callide was established in August 2020, by detectives attached to North Shore Police Area Command to investigate heroin and ice supply.

As part of ongoing investigations, detectives – assisted by officers from Northern Beaches and Ryde commands as well as Northern Region – executed warrants at six properties in Wollstonecraft, Epping and Kempsey from about 7.20 am Wednesday 7 October 2020, and seized prohibited drugs and cash.

During a search of four units on Milner Crescent, Wollstonecraft, police seized prohibited drugs including cannabis.

Officers also allegedly seized drug supply paraphernalia for further forensic examination.

Two men, aged 40 and 49, were arrested at the scene and taken to Chatswood Police Station.

About 8.50 am ton Wednesday 7 October 2020, a search was also conducted at a property in Seven Street, Epping.

Third man, aged 49, was arrested by detectives at a property on Barton Rd, Artarmon about 10 am.

He was also taken to Chatswood Police Station where he is expected to be charged later today.

As part of the operation, officers attached to the Northern Region also executed a search at a property on Middleton Street, Kempsey, seizing cash.

Investigations as part of Strike Force Callide are continuing.
