Venues Must Have a Service NSW QR Code
From today all hospitality venues and hairdressers must have a service NSW QR Code. Paper check-ins are not allowed. If you don’t have a mobile phone, venues are permitted to use a digital check-in such as an Excel spreadsheet on their own devices. So if you want coffee today DOWNLOAD the Service NSW app now. If you need Petrol and Convenience Store items on New Year’s Day, Jack & Co is open. You can buy petrol, coffee, ice, snack food and more.
Centro Lane Cove West is open – it is worth checking them out as they have an extensive range and if you are looking for a present for a homesick US, Brazillian, Asian friend they have a big range of foods from overseas to try. Here is a tip – If you live in Riverview you can easily access Centro by walking across Burns Bay Reserve and walking to Hughes Park – so easy and Centro has barista coffee and all your convenience foods. Many people clean up between the Christmas and New Year holidays. The local op shops and recycling centre are closed until the new year – do not dump
The Community Recycling Centre located at 8 Waltham Street in Artarmon is a one-stop-shop for safely disposing of problem household wastes such as paint, gas bottles, e-waste or motor oil and more. In other words, problem wastes that can’t be collected via council kerbside waste or recycling collection services all year round.
Lane Cove Library
The Library staff have requested, that if possible, please do not return books on public holidays (the books stack up as the staff are not there to process the returns as they come in). Library items are not due during the period Christmas to 2 January 2020.
