Melbourne Cup is on Tuesday, 2 November 2021
It is the race that stops a nation. Well, maybe it used to when it was run at around 2.45 pm (back in the day), but a 3 pm race time means school pick-up time for many and an interruption to those champagne focused festivities.
Just being a part of the Melbourne Cup hype is fun, and a great excuse to get together with a group of friends for lunch, gossip, and to show off your new fascinator.

If you don’t have anything planned you can always watch the big race in the Lane Cove Plaza and on The Canopy screen on Tuesday 2 November from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. The main event is taking place at 3:00pm.
