Scam awareness talk coming to Greenwich

Community News news brief

A scam awareness presentation is coming to St Giles’ Church on Greendale Street, Greenwich, on Wednesday 25 November at 11am.

Presenter Charles Fellner is a Sydney-based educator who has spent the past two years helping older Australians spot and avoid increasingly sophisticated scams.

His talks focus on how scams actually work, including the tactics scammers use to create urgency, trust and fear.

The organisers are keen for the wider community to come along.
