The Dan Murphy’s Cellar
The Dan Murphy’s Cellar opened today (13 April 2022). It’s the latest premium offering from Dan Murphy. The Cellar has been created to showcase the newest, best and most interesting wines and spirits from Australia worldwide and presented in the most welcoming environment.
Inside, an experienced team will welcome you as you join them in exploring and sampling a range at the dedicated tasting table or from their sampling machines.
If you’re simply popping in for a cold bottle or two on the way to dinner or have time to explore and chat with the team of drinks experts, they look forward to helping you find your new favourite bottle with a wealth of suitable options for any drink lovers budget.
They would love you to explore the Icon Room, housing the most exclusive range of wines and spirits of any Dan Murphy’s store in the country. Most days, It will be open for you to browse, giving you all the drinks inspiration you can ask for.
The Icon room will also be their centre stage. They invite the Lane Cove community to join the team of experts and suppliers for intimate tastings and masterclasses, getting a deeper understanding of the products they are proud to share with you.
The Cellar is located on Burns Bay Road Lane Cove (not far from the Figtree Shops).
Red Fort Indian Restaurant
Red Fort Indian Restaurant is now open in Lane Cove. They are located where Delhi Hut used to be above NiBu Cafe at The Village Shopping Centre.
Bookings are by phone only on 8054 5660. They are open seven days a week: Dine-in or takeaway (pickup only).
Open from 12 to 9 pm Mon to Thurs and Sun and from 12.00 to 9.30 Fri to Saturday.
Fill and Chill
Fill, and Chill is now open. They are located above Bakers Delight (use the staircase near Pure Flowers). What is Fill and Chill?
It is a newly opened cocktail bar and function venue. They will be offering a range of cocktails, live music, and DJs. They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm to 12 am and Sundays from 1 pm – 10 pm.
Puppadeli
Puppadeli has launched a hybrid retail and cafe where the customers are our four-legged friends. You heard it right, Puppadeli has launched a boutique pet shop and cafe offering our furry friends delicious meals and treats. The shop is located next to Unwined Espresso Bar.

Rebranded/New Owners
Due to the growth of Bec and Bel – Designer Fashion Consignment, Bec Carter is pleased to announce the store will be moving on the 11th of May 2022 and will be known as ‘The Edit’. The Edit – Designer Fashion Consignment will be located in the Lane Cove Village shopping area (opposite the new Harris Farm) and boasts more than double the footprint of the previous store.

The owners are Georgia and Kieran, and Kylie Dunlop is working with them.

Gymbaroo Lane Cove/Greenwich
Gymbaroo Lane Cove/Greenwich has officially combined the two centres into the one Greenwich location.
Christine from Gymbaroo says this is a significant change as the Greenwich Gym is massive and has lots of space for more equipment and plenty of windows for fresh air.

They are now located at 6 Greendale St, Greenwich NSW 2065 (St Giles Anglican Church Greenwich 2065). Sessions are held Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

The Edit
Bec and Bel have not only rebranded to The Edit, but they are moving to the old Adam Larissa store in the Village Shopping Centre (opposite the Old Coles on Burns Bay Road – which will be Harris Farm eventually).
Sloans
Sloans is on the move and will be relocating to the other side of Longueville Road – the old Stone Real Estate building, which became a display suite. It’s a large area, so ITC can’t wait to see the fit-out – it will be lux.

Little Bakes by Connie is a local business that started in 2021 and is now going strong.
They are located in the Lane Cove area and pride themselves on creating delicious custom made sweet treats for any occasion.
They are sure that there is something to suit your next event, no matter how big or small, and will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
They specialise in all sorts of custom made cakes, delicious gourmet chocolate coated strawberries, cupcakes, fruity tarts and canapé desserts. They also cater for a variety of dietary requirements.

Lane Cove Physio has two new team members.
A not-so-new face has joined the team at Lane Cove Physiotherapy – reintroducing Kirsty Tradell.
Originally from the sunshine state, Kirsty is no stranger to Lane Cove. Since following her husband’s work to Sydney 7 years ago, Kirsty has been helping Lower North Shore locals and families return from injury and regain confidence in their bodies’ abilities.
From a household entrenched in all things sport, Kirsty has always understood her patients yearn to return to the things they love in life, no matter if this is Sport; chasing after grandchildren (which can be like a sport); or being fit to take on their next travel adventure.
When Kirsty isn’t Physio-ing, you’ll find her either at the gym or hunting down the latest cafe/restaurant to taste test. As her patients know, she enjoys practising “balance” in life. She’s ready and raring to help sort out those niggles you’ve been holding onto, so come down to Lane Cove Physiotherapy and welcome her back to the Cove.
Emily Nesbitt is the new Exercise Physiologist after Emma Unwin left to take up a career in the Navy. Emly graduated from the University Of Sydney with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science in 2019 and a Masters of Exercise Physiology in 2021.
Her time at university gave her a wide range of experiences working across neurological and disability clinics, geriatrics, mental health and psychotic disorders, musculoskeletal conditions and in-home exercise delivery through the national disability insurance scheme.
She is passionate about exercise physiology as it is a unique treatment option because it empowers the participant to take a proactive role in their own healthcare. Exercise is highly effective at preventing many risk factors for chronic disease and improving health outcomes, quality of life, and perceived physical function.
She is also highly committed to Netball and has been a part of the sport since she was 8 yrs old. Currently, she is playing for North Shore United Opens Team in the NSW Origin Premier League. Netball is her favourite sport, and she thoroughly enjoys being a part of an elite training environment.
