Planting Workshop: Living Salad Bowl

Young gardeners can turn a plant pot into their very own living salad bowl at this free workshop at Synergy Youth Centre.

Participants plant a mix of lettuce, herbs, edible flowers and native plants, learning how to grow and care for an edible garden along the way. Take it home, watch it grow, and enjoy fresh ingredients straight from the pot.

Plant pots and all materials are provided. It follows on from a pot decorating session held at the centre the week before, but no prior attendance is needed to join in.
