Longueville Uniting Church Hall’s Pizza + Movie Nights continues on Tuesday 1 September with The Third Man (1949), often voted the best British film ever made. Shot in black and white, this classic film noir is based on the thriller by Graham Greene and set among the ruins of post war Vienna.
The cast includes Joseph Cotten, Orson Welles, Trevor Howard and Alida Valli. Pizza is served from 6.30pm, cash only at $15 a head, with the 104 minute film starting at 7.15pm. Guests may bring their own drinks.
