Lane Cove Public School 150th Anniversary Open Day
Lane Cove Public School celebrates 150 years of learning, friendship and community with a whole morning Open Day. Whether you are a current family, former student, past teacher or a local, you are warmly invited to join in.
From performances and the anniversary assembly to the P&C BBQ, birthday cake, old school games, open classrooms, the book fair, art show and museum, there is something for everyone.

8:30 AM
Training Band, Guitars, Recorders and Strings performances at Gumal Place and the COLAs
9:30 AM
150 Year Anniversary Celebration Assembly at Gumal Place (school hall), including the Acknowledgement of Country, special guests, music performances from the Orchestra, Senior Guitars and Senior Choir, reflections on Lane Cove Public School and the cutting of the cake
From 10:30 AM
Celebrations across the school: birthday cake and P&C BBQ sausage sizzle at the canteen, old school games on the basketball court and Coral Park, the LCPS History QR Trail through the library, music room, technology room and office, the Annual Book Fair at the library COLA, K to 6 open classrooms, the LCPS Art Show at Gallery Lane Cove, and the Schoolhouse Museum in the 1891 building

Student performances on Kirkwood Cove: Kindy Singing at 11:15am, Kindy Mandarin Performance at 11:30am, Year 1 Singing at 11:45am, Year 2 Singing at 12:00pm, Junior Choir at 12:15pm and Pulse Alive at 12:30pm
