Crows Nest Fest 2026

The Lower North Shore’s biggest community day returns on Sunday 18 October, with Crows Nest Fest 2026 transforming the village’s streets, laneways and public spaces from 10am to 5pm. Now in its 35th year, the free festival typically draws tens of thousands of visitors for a day of food, music, art, culture and local business.
Expect more than 200 market stalls alongside four entertainment stages: the Big Music Stage in Ernest Place showcasing local talent and school performers, the HATENA Stage for dance schools and cultural groups, the intimate Base Music Stage for emerging musicians, and Art.Beats.Bar mixing DJs, live art and the popular Art Battle painting showdown.
Food lovers can head to the Gourmet Food and Food Truck Alleys, while families will find the Kids Zone back with pony rides, a petting zoo, circus playground and face painting. Roving performers move through the crowd throughout the day.
Free entry, all ages welcome.
