Harbourcare Kayak x World Ecology Day

Lane Cove Council’s Harbourcare team heads out on the water on Tuesday 3 November for a litter-collecting kayak along the Lane Cove River, timed for World Ecology Day. Paddlers will explore the river and clean up the foreshore as they go, helping to protect a valuable local habitat.

Paid tickets include kayak hire, while a free ticket is available for those who bring their own kayak. Bags, gloves and litter pickers are provided, along with a low waste snack and drink. Medium fitness is required and a little kayaking experience is preferred but not essential.

The trip runs from 9:00am to 12:30pm, departing from Riverview. Participants must be 11 or older, and under 16s need an adult with them. Bookings are through Eventbrite, and the meeting spot is sent after booking.
