Laundry Service Volunteers Needed

Help older people stay comfortable and independent in their own homes.

Our Laundry Service volunteers provide practical support to older residents in the Lane Cove area by delivering fresh, professionally laundered linen and helping to remake beds. It’s a simple but meaningful service that helps people maintain their comfort, wellbeing and independence.

What you’ll do

As a Laundry Service volunteer, you will:

- Collect prepared linen packs from our Lane Cove office
- Visit approximately 3–4 clients in their homes
- Strip and remake beds with fresh sheets and pillowcases
- Replace bathroom towels with freshly laundered ones
- Collect used linen and return it to our Lane Cove office

When and where

- Location: Lane Cove LGA
- Volunteer shifts: Twice a month on Mondays
- Time: 8:00 am to approximately 11:00 am
- Transport: Volunteers require access to their own vehicle
- Flexible and rewarding

You can volunteer independently or team up with a friend to share the experience. A petrol contribution of $10 per team per day is provided to help with travel expenses.
