Love live music, sport, art or just a good coffee? Gig Buddies pairs volunteers with adults with a learning disability and/or autism who share their interests. Then you head out to a "gig" together once a month.
A gig can be a coffee and a chat or a day at a music festival. You and your buddy decide.
No experience needed. Training and support are provided. Once you're matched you'll complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a short orientation. Matching depends on location and shared interests so there may be a wait.
Gig Buddies is run by not-for-profit ACL Disability Services.
