Volunteer role. Mostly mornings, 9am to 1pm. Lane Cove National Park.
Bushcare groups are out working in Lane Cove National Park nearly every day of the year. Volunteers have been bringing the bush back since the early 1990s and more help is always welcome. It's a great way to protect native plants and the wildlife that depends on them, get some fresh air and meet like-minded locals.
What you'll do:
- Weeding
- Plant propagation
- Tree planting
All training and tools are provided. Each group sets how often it meets. Most work 9am to 1pm and a few run in the afternoon. Wear long sleeves and long pants and bring insect repellent.
Please note park entry fees apply and the sites aren't wheelchair accessible.
