Try Skiff Sailing Day – Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Skiff Club

Ever wanted to try sailing on the Lane Cove River? As part of Lane Cove’s Festival of the River, the Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Skiff Club is opening its doors for a free Try Skiff Sailing Day.

There’s something for every age and comfort level. Juniors aged 8+ can try a Sabot, teens can take out a Flying 11, and new sailors and families can head out in a Pacer. Thrill-seekers aged 15+ can ride a Cherub or a 12ft skiff. If you’d rather stay dry, enjoy the tranquil waters of the river from one of the club’s powered support boats.

Participation is free, but places on the water are limited, so please register ahead. The clubhouse is on Stuart St, next to Longueville Wharf.
