Time to give you an update on the business opening and closings in Lane Cove.

Closed or Closing

Crayons

Crayons has closed and relocated to their warehouse in Lane Cove West.  Crayons is looking for bigger premises so they can hold workshops.  What a shame they are no longer in the Plaza as they were a great place to buy gifts for parties and occasions.

Taiki Japanese Seafood Restaurant

This restaurant closed at the end of their lease.  They are moving back to Japan to look after some sick relatives.  They were located at “the forgotten end of Longueville Road”.

Yoga and Meditation Centre

A new yoga and meditation centre is opening at 47A Penrose Street Lane Cove West.

New Chiropractor

A Development Application has been submitted for new chiropractic rooms located in the old toy library shop.

Pilates and Spin Centre

A Development Application has been submitted for a new Pilates and spin centre to be opened in the old Renegade Cycles shop in the mall opposite Coles

Super Mix Juicery

A new juice shop selling cold pressed juices and healthy juices designed by a nutritionist.  It will be located in the old Crayons shop.

Iris and Lin

New homewares shop on Longueville Road (near flight centre and The Laughing Ganesha). They sell jewellery, clothes (holiday brand) and homewares.

Under New Management

Spotted Orchid

Cheerful Flowers located at shop 1/44 Burns Bay Rd has sold their business and it will be rebranded the Spotted Orchid. New signage is arriving this week.  Don’t forget its Valentine’s Day on Feb 14th.

Alert Locksmiths

They have moved from Mowbray Road into new premises in Lane Cove West.  A coffee shop is supposed to be opening in their old premises.  They are now located at  Unit 38, 2 Chaplin Drive, Lane Cove West NSW 2066.  Many post boxes in Apartment buildings are be ransacked by thieves, it might be a good idea to contact Alert Locksmiths and talk to them about stronger locks on your post boxes.
