St Michael’s Mum’s Night Out Market started in 2012.
There were four reasons for the market.
- To promote local businesses owned by school parents;
- To promote local businesses generally;
- To provide a fun social night for mums (and ladies who just like to shop) to have a relaxing evening to shop without being distracted; and
- To raise some money for the school.
Each year between 350 – 500 woman from all over Lane Cove descend on the markets. It’s great to catch up with friends you may not have seen for a while (probably because their kids attend other schools). Everyone is welcome. Bring your friends, neighbours or bff. By the way, you don’t need to be a mum to attend.
The night is on rain or shine (as the vendors are in a covered location). ITC recommends you park at Lane Cove Shops and walk the 5 mins to St Michael’s School, once you have shopped and sipped, you can finish the night off with a get together at one of the local bars/licensed restaurants (The Den, The Longy, Unwined Bar or the Lodge).
There are over 40 different stall holders to choose from with craft, stalls, homewares, handbags, jewellery, clothes, toys, Christmas Decorations and stylish accessories.
The very popular champers bar is supported by a pop up gourmet cafe by uber chef and caterer Bern the Chef.
