11 Lane Cove Sweet Treats for Christmas

Sweet treats under the Christmas Tree are appreciated by everyone.  ITC hit the streets of Lane Cove to uncover the best sweet treats we could find.  Yes, it is a tough job, but somebody has to do it.  In no particular order, we give you 11 sweet treats that would make an ideal Christmas Gift.

Rocky Road at Batch By Batch

Batch By Batch uses the finest Belgian couverture chocolate with real Turkish delight, almonds and sweet cranberries with light fluffy marshmallow.  An added extra is the hazelnut praline baubles.  Batch by Batch is located on Northwood Road Northwood (parking is available behind the shop).

Zumbarons at Jack & Co

Jack & Co Northwood is now carrying a selection of Zumbo treats.  You can buy the Zumbarons individually in a nice little box or box of six.

Why not be to put a little Zumbaron box next to each table setting?  You could even use the box as your place card by writing everyone’s name on the box.

Gelatissimo Take Home Packs

ITC recently discovered that you could take home your favourite gelato in a home pack.  Gelatissimo has released two special Christmas Flavours.  If someone asks you to bring dessert just take a Gelatissimo Take Home Pack.

Fill the pack with White Christmas Gelato or SALTED CAMEL.  Yes, salted camel is a unique caramel gelato made with REAL camel milk topped with crunchy butterscotch baubles 🌟 Available for a limited time only!

Gelatissimo Lane Cove is located in the Lane Cove Plaza.

Belle Fleur Chocolates are back at La Provence Espresso Bar.  Belle Fleur know their chocolate. It’s a family-owned business that has been making traditional Belgian style chocolates for 4 generations.  Grab a selection of Belle Fleur Chocolates from La Provence.  They also stock Christmas chocolates and Gingerbread houses.

Spotted Orchid

The Spotted Orchid has gone old school with an amazing array of lollies that you loved as a kid.  A great gift would be a bunch of flowers and some sweet treats.  The Spotted Orchid is located just across from the Post Office.

The Cake Man – Lane Cove

When you’re talking Gingerbread Houses, there is one place in Lane Cove that has the most amazing array of Gingerbread Houses.  They even have a Gingerbread house that comes with their own lights!!!!!.  The Cake Man is located in the Bakers Delight Arcade.

Emporio Organico

Emporio Organico is situated in a beautiful store in West Street Crows Nest.  It’s founder Kitsa, was a long time Lane Cove resident and her mum still lives in Lane Cove.  Kitsa has beautiful organic/gluten free sweet treats.  You can buy online or visit her store in Crows Nest.  ITC particularly liked the look of the Pink Salted Caramel.  It can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.  Use it as a delightful filling for tartlets, macarons or cakes. The caramel can also be gently melted and used as a sauce for ice cream.   You have to love any product where the ingredients are simply butter, sugar, cream and Murray River pink salt.

What other sweet treats do you like in Lane Cove (all of the above are ones you can either put under the Christmas tree or take as a host/hostess gift)?
If you like something sweet and love fruit – try making this edible fruit wreath.
