Not Gunfire Just a Hoon
On Saturday night 4th May Longueville residents heard sounds like a gun fire or crackers going off. On Monday a sharp eyed roving reporter saw these donuts marks and it appears the sounds were made by a car.
Lost Jewellery
Did you lose any jewellery in Lane Cove North? North Shore Police are trying to locate the owner of an item of jewellery that was found recently in Lane Cove North. If you have lost something recently in that area, please contact Senior Constable Jamie Sifko or Senior Constable Jenni Brown at Chatswood Police. You will need to describe the jewellery in detail.

Federal Election
With only one week to go until we vote in the Federal Election, our local member Trent Zimmerman is of the view that pre poll voting opens too early. There are no pre polling stations in Lane Cove. Find out where you can vote early here.
Dog Park
The Blackman Park Dog Park has been officially open for a week and it is a big hit with dogs and owners. We have noticed that families without dogs are visiting the park and meeting dogs and socialising with dog owners.
