Police are investigating an alleged stabbing that occurred in Mindarie Street on 16 September 2020.
Police responded to a triple zero call around 9.00 pm whereby a 42-year-old man sustained serious injuries from an assault.
Ambulance officers attended the scene and treated the man for two large lacerations before taking him to hospital.
The exact circumstances are still being investigated and Police have seized a samurai sword, a knife and a blood-stained towel.

This is the third stabbing/knife attack in Lane Cove since January 2020.
In January 2020 emergency services were called to a unit complex on the corner of the Pacific Highway and Mowbray Road Lane Cove North about 7.10pm on Sunday 19 January 2020, and found a 37-year-old man with a chest wound. Further details here.
On Friday 19 June 2020, officers from North Shore Police Area Command were called to Burns Bay Reserve at Riverview, after reports a man was seen armed with a sword.
Police have been told a man had pushed a fisherman in the water at the Riverview boat ramp before threatening two other fishermen with the sword. He was then seen returning to a nearby unit. Further details here.
