Paul Bennett

Our first Guest is Paul Bennett.  Paul is a member of the Road Captains (they busk outside Birdwood Café every Thursday).  Paul and his wife Tutti are colourful Lane Cove identities who have been featured in two International Publications by Advanced Style Paul is also an artist and his exhibition Cloudzones will be opening at Gallery Lane Cove on 9th December 2020.

 

Gill Batt

Our Second Guest is Gill Batt, CEO, of Sydney Community Services   Gill (see our cover photo) and her team at Sydney Community Services provide valuable services to the elderly, disadvantaged, people with a disability and the vulnerable in Lane Cove and Hunters Hill.  Their services have been needed even more since COVID-19 hit and you will find out the valuable work they do in the community.  Sydney Community Services also publishes The Village Observer.   They work with Delvena Women’s Refuge Lane Cove to provide much-needed food and grocery items.  Their Christmas Food Drive will be starting soon and you can find out how to help from Gill.
