Did you know you can use The Active & Creative Kids vouchers to pay for so many of the below activities? The Active program provides two $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year. The Creative kids voucher can give one $100 voucher per year to put towards the cost of lessons and fees with registered providers.
Vouchers are valid January to December and Voucher 2 is valid July to December.

We aim to build a lasting love of exercise through a wide variety of age specific sports, games and activities that are suitable for both girls and boys of all athletic abilities (all children will be kept in age groups throughout the day). We begin the day with warm-up games, throughout the day we rotate between different sports, games and action packed activities which will leave your children asking for more. Lane Cove Tennis Club
Camps are suitable for all ages of kids and cater for beginners to intermediate players. Our coaches use Tennis Australia’s ANZ Hot Shot program so learning strokes is easy.
Kids learn each stroke of tennis from forehand and backhands, volleys and smashes to the most challenging shot, the serve. They are taught how to score so they can start playing games. There are other fun skills activities so footwork and stroke technique is reinforced.

Big Music
Since 2009, every school holidays Big Music runs fun music programs for kids AGED 5 to 17 catering for all levels of musical experience and ability. We offer two camp programs, depending on the child’s age and musical experience – read more about our camp programs below.
The emphasis of both camp programs is FUN and participation in playing and performing popular music with other kids. All kids have access to Big Music’s extensive studio facilities and the latest equipment, as well as our team of inspiring professional music coaches.
Camps run Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm daily, with optional before / after care – see details below.
Program 1: THE ULTIMATE ROCK EXPERIENCE (URE)
AGES 5 – 12, NO PRIOR MUSICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The perfect way for younger kids to start their musical journey, the URE program gives them a chance to try a range of cool, contemporary instruments. Working in small groups with our expert coaches, kids rotate each day through lessons on guitar, bass, drums, vocals and piano/keyboard. Depending on enrolment numbers, we might do ukulele as well. It’s a great way to discover an instrument they love.
The final day is a fun-filled creative songwriting session with kids and coaches working together to write their own songs and even design their own album cover!

Our Rock Shows are for kids who are ready to rock! Most will have been playing for at least a year, a short audition is required for first-timers. Working with inspiring professional musicians, students prepare a setlist for an awesome stage performance (which may be live-streamed or recorded). The focus is on having fun while developing musicianship and stagecraft, with creative songwriting also woven in.
Please note due to Covid-19 all Rock Show students are required to BYO instruments and accessories, including microphones for vocalists.
