Want to know what is happening in Lane Cove on ANZAC Day? We have put together a guide for you.

Lane Cove ANZAC Day Service

You’re invited to join the Lane Cove RSL Sub Branch and the Lane Cove Council for an ANZAC Day service on Sunday 25 April at The Canopy.

To help provide appropriate social distancing, this year Lane Cove Council will host the ANZAC Day Service at The Canopy.

A QR code will be made available on-site for all guests to register their attendance, no bookings required in advance. All guests must register using the QR code via the Service NSW App. If you have issues registering via the app, staff will be on-site to manually register your attendance.

Please arrive at 7:15 am for a 7:25 am start. This is a limited capacity event due to COVID restrictions. Limited seating will be provided and wet weather updates will be made on this page.

The Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch and the Lane Cove Council put a great deal of effort into the ceremony so please come along and remember Lane Cove locals who served to protect our country. If you would like to know more about the planning of the service and the man behind it read our article here.

Show us your ANZAC Day pride

Post to our Facebook page photos of your ANZAC Day commemorations. The photos do not have to be taken in Lane Cove, we just want to see the wonderful ways you commemorated ANZAC Day. The photo that we think most catches the spirit of ANZAC Day will win a small prize.

ANZAC Day Craft

For those of you with little ones, you always know your kids will come home with a poppy artwork for ANZAC Day. These days, many of us are keeping the kids home from school and daycare but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a gorgeous poppy!  Thanks to a local Art Teacher and owner of JumpingClay Australia, Jana Griffiths, she has pulled together a few ANZAC Day themed craft and art activities which are simple and easy to do.  Read more here.
