This one is a favourite and also a great one to do in the rain as it has so many trees you are very sheltered. Plus when it rains the beautiful streams flow. There are a lot of lifted walkways so you can easily avoid mud but best to wear shoes that can get a little dirty just in case.
It can be a short or a long bushwalk if you walk along the golf course side. Just beautiful, these images are just a small area of the walk. We usually park on Osborne Road and enter where the signage is for the reserve. The track is fairly easy and level.
Interesting fact is the Lane Cove Bushland Park is the only park listed on the Register of the National Estate in Lane Cove! Its full of fungi, plants and animals!
