Lane Cove Bushwalk – Shell Park to Greenwich Point Ferry Wharf

We started the walk at the Shell Park signage and continued along the path toward Greenwich Park at the Ferry terminal.

It’s an easy walk, great for little kids. Instead of going back the way we came we walked through Greenwich on the quiet streets back to the car.

Dogs must be on the lead but there is an off-leash area. The signage indicates there is a playground but it’s literally just a slide and that’s due to be decommissioned so go for the views and the walk, not the playground.
In a few areas, you can access the foreshore and let the kids throw shells into the water or hunt for interesting rocks and shells.
Was a great outing with the kids, fresh air and exercise. Was less busy than some of the other bushwalks. Give yourself 1 hour round trip… with kids a bit more!
