The NSW Local Government elections will be held on 4th December 2021. The last NSW Local Government elections were held in September 2017.
Lane Cove’s current Mayor Pam Palmer has not nominated for re-election. Other current councillors who are not standing for re-election include Karola Brent and Katherine Morris.
The following sitting Councillors who have nominated for re-election are:

- Andrew Zbik
- Scott Bennison
- David Brooks Horn
- Frances Vissel
Lane Cove Council – Three Wards
Lane Cove Council is split into three wards and each ward elects three councillors. They are East, West and Central Ward.
