It’s Christmas time, and Lane Cove Council is again bringing Bluey and Bingo back to the Canopy.
The Bluey Live Christmas Experience is a highlight of the year for Lane Cove kids, and the concerts are bigger than the nighttime concerts held at The Canopy.

Bluey Live Christmas Experience – 1 December 2023
Wackadoo! Bluey and her little sister Bingo are heading to Lane Cove – for real life! Get ready to play Verandah Santa, Keepy Uppy and more.

Lighting of the Lane Cove Christmas Tree – 1 December 2023
Once you have seen Bluey, stick around for the Lighting of the Lane Cove Christmas Tree.
Lane Cove Plaza will come alive from 3.30 pm to 8.00 pm
Enjoy this special tradition for Lane Cove locals!
The plaza will have free kids’ activities, entertainment and special performances finishing with the Mayor lighting the Plaza Christmas Tree.
Meet Santa in The Canopy – 16 December 2023 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Come and visit Santa on the stage at The Canopy.
Have your face painted by an amazing elf and then take your photo with Santa while you share your Christmas wish list.
No booking required. The queue will close at 1:30 pm.

Where to Buy Fresh Christmas Trees
There is something nice about a fresh Christmas Tree. The smell of pine wafting through your house. Here is where you can buy your fresh Christmas Trees in Lane Cove and help out local community groups. We also have some tips for those who don’t manage to snap up a Christmas Tree from a community group – as they go very fast.
