Light up those houses in Lane Cove and enter In the Cove’s Lane Cove Christmas Lights and Merriest Mailbox Competition.

This competition aims to help our community discover the local Christmas lights that are proudly displayed throughout Lane Cove.
How to Enter the Lane Cove Christmas Lights Comp
There is $1000.00 worth of prizes for the best home, apartment, and people’s choice, thanks to Rebecca Mitchell of Raine & Horne Lower North Shore.
The People’s Choice Award will be decided by a Facebook Poll – a photo of each property entered into the competition will be uploaded to our Facebook page and the picture with the most likes will win the People’s Choice.
To enter all you need to do is decorate your home with lights and register by 15th December to be in the running. Enter online below for Christmas Lights (scroll down for entry form the Merriest Mailbox).

Which Streets Are the Best Streets To View the Lights
You will be able to see the best streets for lights on our interactive map which will be updated as residents enter the competition. So set aside a night to have dinner at one of our wonderful Lane Cove eateries and then check out the Light Up Lane Cove entries.
Please note that viewing the lights is a self-guided tour, and you should not enter an entrant’s property. You undertake the self guided tour at your own risk.
Merriest Mailbox
This year we have added a new competition. You don’t need to be Clark Griswold to be part of the competition. Grab the kids and make your mailbox a joy to behold. You don’t need lights (up to you) but if they are like the samples below they can be enjoyed by residents throughout the day and people can take day trips to see the Merry Mailboxes.
There is $400 worth of prizes for the four merriest mailboxes located in the Lane Cove Council Area and Lane Cove North thanks to Rebecca Mitchell of Raine & Horne Lower North Shore. Four lucky winners will receive $100 each. We have two categories Merriest Mailbox Home and Merriest Mailbox Apartment – there will be two winners per category.
