Running throughout February, Lunar Harmony is a vibrant exhibition celebrating the Lunar New Year through contemporary art and cultural storytelling.

The exhibition explores themes of renewal, balance and connection, bringing together diverse artistic perspectives inspired by Lunar traditions. It’s a thoughtful and visually engaging exhibition, perfect for a relaxed visit, a cultural outing or a moment of creative inspiration.

Lunar Harmony Opening Night

The Lunar Harmony exhibition will officially open with a special Opening Night event at Gallery Lane Cove, inviting the community to come together to celebrate art, culture and the Lunar New Year.

Opening Night events at Gallery Lane Cove are always a warm, welcoming affair — a chance to view the exhibition first, meet artists, and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by creativity.

This event is open to the public and is a lovely way to experience the exhibition in a social setting.

Children’s Term 1 Classes Begin

Gallery Lane Cove’s children’s term classes kick off in February, offering creative after-school programs designed to build confidence, skills and imagination.

Classes are available for a range of ages and focus on:

  • Drawing, painting and mixed media
  • Sewing
  • Pottery

These programs are extremely popular with local families, and places are limited.


Adult Term Classes: Learn Something New in 2026

For adults keen to start (or restart) a creative practice, adult term classes begin in February and cater to all experience levels — from beginners to more experienced artists.

Classes provide structured learning, creative experimentation and the chance to connect with other local creatives, covering areas such as:

  • Pottery
  • Pain & Draw

  • Watercolours
  • Printmaking
  • Composition & Collage
