As the days get longer and the weather warms up, The Canopy is coming alive with music. Gather your favourite people and bring a picnic rug to enjoy some spectacular outdoor performances in Lane Cove. Whether you love classical, pop-rock, a capella or disco, these upcoming concerts are the best way to spend your evening.
Saturday 19 September: Cameraygal Wind Symphony
This concert series kicks off this weekend with one of the Lower North Shore’s favourite community ensembles, the Cameraygal Wind Symphony. The band, consisting of approximately 70 adult musicians with a mixture of woodwind, brass and percussion, have recently won the NSW State Band Championships. Come along and experience an energetic performance of traditional and contemporary wind band repertoire.

Sunday 20 September: Four Leaf Clover and Reverse Revolution
Rock it out on a Sunday afternoon with two youth bands, both formerd out of Big Music in Crows Nest.
Four Leaf Clover may be a young band but they will be bringing their powerful grit and energy after placing 3rd overall at the YouthRock Finals this year.
Reverse Revolution is another youth rock trio with plenty of experience with festival performances. We profiled them last year in the lead up t othe release of their first album. Read it here.
Expect original music and covers from both bands, and give your support to these rising stars.

Friday 25 September: Songs from Our Backyard, Soulfood A Capella
Relax and immerse yourself in the soothing harmonies and original arrangements from award-winning vocal ensemble Soulfood A Capella. Reminisce over the last 50 years of Australian pop and feel free to sing along to songs from Cold Chisel, Tina Arena, The Easybeats, Gotye, Megan Washington, Sia, Lior and more.

Saturday 26 September: Rumours, Fleetwood Mac Tribute
Sydney-based tribute band Rumours – The Music & Magic of Fleetwood Mac is bringing the discography of Fleetwood Mac back to Lane Cove. Be prepared to feel the nostalgic tunes of Dreams, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Rhiannon, Landslide, Don’t Stop and many more classics.
The group first played The Canopy back in 2022 and it was a great night out!

Friday 30 October: KPop Demon Hunters vs The Besties Halloween Glow Party
What better way to celebrate the spooky season than with a dance show for all ages. Join the party, which includes an entertaining dance show of K-pop-inspired choreography from KPop Demon Hunters and a dance-along to hits from Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Katy Perry and more. Put on your best Halloween costume and be prepared for an evening of dancing, confetti and a fa-boo-lous time!
Both acts have appeared at The Canopy before and now they’re powers are combining for one big party!

Saturday 7 November: Swamp Dawkins
We’re not sure yet on the exact format yet, but it’s sure to be a hoot. Dust off your boots for an evening with Swamp Dawkins, one of Australia’s top bush dance and country dance bands. Expect a lively mix of called line dances, barn dances and iconic Australian and American country tunes to get everyone up and moving.

Friday 20 November: Born Jovi
This tribute band will be playing classics like ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’, ‘Always’ and ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’, and many more. Expect high energy performances and enjoy a night of great live classic rock music with Born Jovi
