Moments in Music: A Brief History of Opera
25 November 2026 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
Local musician Graham Ball takes the audience on a whistle-stop tour of opera at Lane Cove Library on Wednesday 25 November from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
The talk begins in Renaissance Italy more than 400 years ago, when opera was born, and follows the art form as it spread around the world to the stages of today. Expect stories about the composers and singers along the way, plus plenty of musical examples.
Moments in Music is a popular morning series at the library. The session is free but bookings are essential.
