One Leg Forward: Oli Reyes’ Journey to the Paralympic Start Gate

Lane Cove local Oli Reyes has his sights set on the 2030 Winter Paralympics, and he is heading to the US to train and race. Friends, neighbours and supporters can hear his story at One Leg Forward: A Journey to the US Start Gate on Wednesday 25 November from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club.

The afternoon includes a short video and an interview with Oli hosted by James O’Brien from the ABC. Guests can then ask their own questions and mingle, with food and drinks provided.

Entry is free but registration is essential as places are limited. The event also raises funds for Oli’s 2027 US campaign, which has a $15,000 goal. Tax-deductible donations can be made through the Australian Sports Foundation.
