Our popular literacy booster camps being offered during the January school holidays are as follows:

Children who will be in Year 3 or Year 4 in 2020

Mon, Tues, Wed (13th, 14th, 15th January) @ 1.30pm – 3.00pm each day (1.5 hours each session). Times to be confirmed depending on numbers. Each group costs $430 per child for the 3 sessions and includes take home learning materials.

School Readiness Group

This program is being run over 3 days in the January School Holidays.  We plan to have two different time slots to try and accomodate everybody.

Group 2
Sessions will be held on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th January 2020 at 9.00am-10.30am each day.

School Holiday Learn to Sail Greenwich Sailing Club

Greenwich Sailing Club’s annual learn to sail program is suitable for children from 10 to 15 years old. Over 3 days the students are coached by a professional instructor in all the basics of dinghy sailing. After the training, children are competent to compete in our Sunday afternoon racing series and will receive ongoing coaching through the year. The training fee includes membership of the club for 12 months as well as boat hire until the end of the sailing season.

Little Legends – Multi Sports

Little Legends aims to build a lasting love of exercise through a wide variety of age specific sports, games and activities that are suitable for both girls and boys of all athletic abilities (all children will be kept in age groups throughout the day). They begin the day with warm-up games, throughout the day we rotate between different sports, games and action packed activities which will leave your children asking for more. 9 Degrees Lane Cove – Bouldering

Lane Cove has a new activity to try and it’s completely different to any other activity in Lane Cove!!

Bouldering is an activity that anyone can try.  You don’t need to purchase special equipment (it’s all available for hire at 9 Degrees).  It suits any level of fitness and beginners are very welcome.  9 Degrees tends to attract people with a zero-sporting background – repeat zero sporting background.  More info here.

This activity is suited to a family who have older kids or teenagers (15 years and over).  How many times do you hear there’s nothing in Lane Cove for teenagers to do?  Well now there is!!  This would be the ideal place for teenagers to have fun and meet their friends (all persons under 18 must have a signed waiver before using the facility).  Who knows your teenager might end up representing Australia at the Olympics!! Rock climbing is one of the new sports added to the 2020 Olympics.

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times unless under the supervision of an approved trainer or coach. One adult supervisor is necessary per 2 children climbing.

If you’re looking for something that’s a different, enormously fun, and a workout both physically and mentally then give bouldering a go.
